Graciela Salgado-Foroodi has a licentiate degree in Education, post-graduate studies in Leadership Training and a doctorate in Educational Research. She was trained under the positive approaches of Eloy Anello, Juanita de Hernandez and Nossrat Peseschkian.
Graciela is an Ecuadorian with thirty years of experience as an educator and trainer in the field of human growth and development, a university instructor, and a teacher of children and youth. Currently, she is the Training Coordinator for Fundación Horizonte, for which she has developed domestic and foreign training programs in citizenship, leadership and culture of peace. She is part of the network of the Alternatives to Violence Program (AVP), under which she facilitates workshops for teachers, psychologists, business people and youth who are seeking tools for building social peace.
Her conviction that “world peace is not only possible but inevitable" motivates her to participate with the determination to develop human potential towards this goal in everything she does.
